Online courses

Some of our courses are specifically delivered online meaning you can complete the entire course off-campus. This is indicated by the word (online) in brackets next to the course name.

For courses that aren’t completely online, some elements may be able to be studied off-campus meaning you can complete aspects of the course while working in practice, or if you are based overseas. You may then need to be on campus for specific modules, examinations etc. To find out more about how each course is taught, please refer to the course pages and/or use the form to get in touch.

Online learning is taught in a supportive online community via our virtual learning environment (VLE) that utilises online seminars and workshops, self-paced learning tasks, group forum activities, tutorials and the opportunity to engage in remote skills development.

PG Certificates and PG Diplomas

Further your professional development with a PG Cert or a PG Dip from Health Sciences University. You may be looking to advance your career by focusing on certain elements of a discipline, or by undertaking a course of study that doesn’t require as much research or a dissertation. If so a PGCert or PGDip could be for you.

Some of our Master’s programmes also have the option for an ‘exit award’ should you require to graduate early, before completing the full MSc. This ‘exit award’ allows you to qualify with either a PG Cert or a PG Dip, rather than complete a whole Masters.

What is the difference between PG Cert, PG Dip and MSc?

  • A PG Cert takes the least amount of time to complete, requiring 60 credits.
  • A PG Dip is twice as long and requires 120 credits to complete.
  • To complete a full Masters requires 180 credits.

Please speak to the course leads or register your interest on the course page for further information regarding PG Certs and PG Dips.

Alumni Discount

All Health Sciences University alumni are eligible to apply for a 10% discount on CPD and several of our Postgraduate courses. Please refer to our tuition fees policy (section 5.2) to find out more.
