Applying for Student Finance
Student Finance provides financial support on behalf of the UK Government to eligible students entering higher education in the UK. This financial support may be in the form of repayable loans or grants and bursaries. Students may apply for Student Finance to help with tuition fees and/or living costs and your eligibility will be assessed against specific criteria.
Student Finance England loans cover tuition fees (paid directly to the university) and maintenance costs (paid directly to student bank accounts at the start of the term). Student Finance Wales, Student Finance Northern Ireland and the Student Awards Agency Scotland all can help with varying levels of financial support for tuition fees and maintenance loans and grants.

Applications are submitted online and you are required to reapply for each year that you require finance. This is to reflect any changes in your circumstances year-on-year.
You will need to provide information and evidence to support your application and in some circumstances your parents/guardians will have to provide information about their household income too, including relevant documents as evidence.
