Terry is a key member of the University’s Executive and senior leadership team, supporting the Vice Chancellor in the leadership, management and effective operation of the University. As COO, Terry has responsibility for a number of corporate support services, notably: Finance and Procurement; Digital and IT; People and Culture; Estates and Facilities; Marketing and Recruitment; Communications and Alumni.

Biography

Terry is a key member of the University’s Executive and senior leadership team, supporting the Vice Chancellor in the leadership, management and effective operation of the University.

As COO, Terry has responsibility for a number of corporate support services, notably: Finance and Procurement; Digital and IT; People and Culture; Estates and Facilities; Marketing and Recruitment; Communications and Alumni.

Having qualified as a Chartered Accountant, Terry became an investment banker before holding senior positions (as Chief Financial Officer / Chief Operating Officer) for both commercial and not-for-profit organisations (including listed and private equity groups, several large housing associations, a university and the NHS).

Terry also holds several non-executive director roles.

Financially astute, with a strong background in corporate finance, Terry’s role is to help develop and implement the University’s strategy, drive organizational progress and help enhance academic and business-related performance across the institution.
