Biography

Steve’s expertise is within business startup, development, growth, and successful exit strategies. He has founded and built a range of his own companies including, photography studios, events companies, a group of business incubation and co-working spaces around the UK and even a converted a Boeing 737 plane as an Airbnb. Steve has appeared on numerous TV shows with his businesses, including on the BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Netflix.

One of Steve’s companies, BioTeq, develops human implantable microchip devices, offering a range of assistive technology, healthcare and bespoke solutions. BioTeq work with a range of medical professionals and continue to carry out research and development in the area of implantable smart technology, often developing the underlying technology alongside academic and student based research projects.

Steve has won a range of business awards including entrepreneur of the year and most recently a lifetime achievement award. Steve supports students in all aspects of enterprise, entrepreneurship and starting their own business, including acting as an angel investor for student ventures.
