Megan Thomas

Megan assists in labs, tutorials and practical classes helping students learn. She currently assists in years 2 and 3, where she helps students apply what they are learning in the clinical setting.

Biography

Megan was born and bred in Cardiff. Where she was a keen sportswoman, playing hockey for South Wales and competing in 400m hurdles.

She studied Human Biosciences at Exeter University obtaining a BSc(Hons) degree. After this Megan continued playing hockey and picked up a few injuries along the way. This was when Megan first received chiropractic treatment and inspired her to become one herself.

After becoming inspired Megan attended HSU graduating in 2021.

After graduating Megan practiced in Andover and Shaftesbury and continued with her learning completing the PRT programme and becoming a RCC member. After a number of years Megan began mentoring a graduate, which she thoroughly enjoyed, this ignited her interest in teaching.

 

Experience, Areas of interest/expertise:

Megan has been practicing for 4 years. She has a great rapport with her patients and in some instances treats three generations of the same family.

She has a special interest in patient with Osteoarthritis, utilising a multidisciplinary approach to give her patients the best care possible. Megan has also taken additional courses in pregnancy, post-partum care and dry needling.
