Joy Harrison is a Clinical Tutor and Associate Chiropractor. She graduated from Health Sciences University in 2019 and returned to pursue a career within an educational setting and enrol in further education as well. Joy supervises and supports final year interns during their clinical placement with patients, helping prepare them for life in clinical practice.

Biography

Joy Harrison is a Clinical Tutor and Associate Chiropractor. She graduated from AECC University College in 2019 and returned to pursue a career within an educational setting and enrol in further education as well. Joy supervises and supports final year interns during their clinical placement with patients, helping prepare them for life in clinical practice.

Joy has her own clinical practice within the HSU Chiropractic Clinic where she treats her own patients alongside her clinical tutor duties. She is also involved in overseeing the final year Graduate entry MSc placement students as they see and treat patients in the new Bournemouth University satellite clinic.

Current Activity

Joy has worked in various multidisciplinary settings across Bournemouth, Surrey and Portsmouth, gaining vital experience with a wide variety of patients presenting all sorts of complaints since graduating from Health Sciences University.

Interests include: Using diversified techniques, alongside other complementary techniques such as dry needling, soft tissue techniques, therapeutic ultrasound, shockwave and elements from SOT.
