Biography
Jane Cook graduated from Health Sciences University with the Doctor of Chiropractic in 1989 followed by the Diploma of the American Chiropractic Board of Radiologists (DACBR) in 1994. Since 1994 Jane has been teaching in chiropractic institutions holding the position of Lecturer and Senior Lecturer in chiropractic programs in the UK and Australia. She has considerable experience in teaching imaging in chiropractic courses and has successfully supervised at both BSc and Masters level.
Current Activity
Jane is currently Senior Lecturer at the Health Sciences University, a member of the Staff Association and Radiation Protection Committee. She is responsible for creating and implementing the teaching of imaging at the institution, including the screening and reporting grading of radiographs taken at the Health Sciences University Chiropractic Clinic. Jane is involved in the teaching of Postgraduate Masters students in diagnostic ultrasound. She is part of the ultrasound clinical team, undertaking musculoskeletal scanning of in-house and external referral patients. She is Unit Lead for the Hip and Groin Unit of the MSc in Medical Ultrasound and is involved in the supervision and management of multiple BSc and MSc students.
