Biography
Dr. Peter Miller graduated from the Health Sciences University in 1992 and was in private practice for 11 years. During this time, he completed a Masters in clinical chiropractic through the University of Portsmouth. In 2003 Peter started as a lecturer at the Health Sciences University becoming a senior lecturer in 2007, completed his Professional Doctorate in 2009 and was appointed Principal Lecturer in Clinical Management in 2015. Peter has considerable experience of teaching clinical management of neuro-musculoskeletal conditions at an undergraduate and postgraduate level. Peter has successfully supervised at Masters level and has published in the areas of patient centred care, evidence-based medicine, treatment efficacy and qualitative research into the patients experience.
Current Activity
At present Peter is Senior Lecturer in Clinical Management. He is engaged in a large number of undergraduate and postgraduate activities, allowing him teach and guide at a number of academic levels across the School of Chiropractic.
Areas of Interest
Areas of interest include: Patient centred care, evidence-informed practice, values-based practice, professional development and clinical management.
