Biography
Chris qualified as an osteopath in 1999 from the British School of Osteopathy with a BSc (Hons) in Osteopathy. After completing his studies, he practiced in various private settings, including the BBC TV Centre. Shortly after qualifying, Chris returned to teaching and has been involved in education intermittently since 2001. He has pursued various postgraduate courses, including equine and canine osteopathy, as well as the PGCert ACE.
Additionally, he has gained qualifications in strength and conditioning and counseling to enhance his osteopathic practice. Chris has worked with several professional motorsport teams, including Aston Martin and Porsche, participating in prestigious events such as the Le Mans and Daytona 24-hour races. In 2023, he became the Deputy Course Leader after previously serving as the Deputy Unit Leader for Patient Care.
Chris is currently deputy course leader for the MOst programmes and is also a lecturer in Patient Care osteopathic technique. his role is to help develop the courses both in terms of new initiatives as well as ensuring student satisfaction for our existing students. He as also been heavily involved in the recruitment of potential students to join the courses at an undergraduate level.
Areas of Interest
Chris has a keen interest in biomechanics and the application of osteopathy in the motorsport field.
