Biography
Brad is the Secretary General of the World Federation of Chiropractic, a non-state actor of the World Health Organisation, and is a Director of World Spine Care Africa. He is a clinician, medicolegal advisor and educator. He lectures for universities, business schools, Departments of Health, the World Bank/IFC and globally on matters of public health access and the digital health ecosystem, addressing universal healthcare strategies aligned to WHO public health, primary care and rehabilitation committee initiatives.
His professional career spans three decades. Brad has advised and consulted in local and international forums on health economics, financing of health systems, corporate governance, health risk management, and telehealth & telemedicine strategy.
He facilitates discussions with students, graduates and business professionals on subject matter including bioethics, biomechanics, business management, corporate governance, diagnostics and principles of the emergent digital health economy including telehealth and telemedicine.
With a passion for learning, Brad has combined medical theory and practice with legal precedent and ethical conduct to develop a unique approach to providing affordable value based care in primary and remote areas across multiple jurisdictions.
Brad strives to connect with everyone on a personal and professional level. He is committed to imparting deep truths steeped in both theory and practical application.
During the hours when Brad is not working, he is an avid and committed trail runner with a preference for 75km – 100km races, notably across Table Mountain and the Cederberg nature reserve. It is here that he drafts his best arguments and composes his most well considered presentations.
