Biography
Michelle is a Senior Lecturer in Workforce Development, with experience of working with various healthcare professionals and patient groups. At Health Sciences University she works within our Centre for Workforce and Systems Innovation working on supporting initiatives to support the health and social care workforce, such as building workforce capacity through training and apprenticeships. Her work at HSU has involved curriculum development to support workforce transformation, both locally and as a response to national priorities. This has included work to support a variety of roles from assistant practitioners, pre-registration training and apprenticeships through to enhanced and advanced practice. Michelle’s research explores areas such as development and implementation of new roles, and ongoing education and training to support skills in practice.
