Back Health Sciences University - - 1 minute read.

From 6th-11th October 2025, staff and students from Health Sciences University will be running a community Health and Support pop-up initiative at the Boscombe Arts Depot, aimed at fostering positive health and community well-being.

The “Health and Support Pop-Up” will offer free access to a range of health and support services, including musculoskeletal triage and signposting, group exercise sessions, foot care advice, NHS health checks and more.

Partnering with BEAF and Help & Care and CAN the event will also provide comprehensive support including mental health services, lifestyle guidance, and social care support.

Daniel Heritage, Chiropractic Clinic Lead at Health Sciences University, commented: “We are really excited to be supporting our local community with this initiative, building on the success of last years event. At Health Sciences University, we offer a range of clinics to support our local community. Being able to be based on Boscombe high street for this event will allow us to see even more members of the community, offering free health and support services.”

The pop-up aims to act as a ‘one-stop shop’ to allow people to access health and support advice. We are aware that poor health can impact significantly on peoples work and therefore can have major impacts to local economic growth and productivity.

Members of the public are invited to drop-in from 10am – 4pm during the health and support pop-up event.
